I'm a long-time Colorado resident and a foundational member of recently launched, Denver-based social venture tuggl.com. We started tuggl to help connect Denver/Boulder consumers with the best local businesses - the ones providing great service as well as supporting important causes and minding their environmental impact. By rewarding these businesses with the most new customers, tuggl finally proves that doing good is good for business.

I'm a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Accounting & Business Administration, and a Master's degree-holder from the University of St Andrews in Scotland with an emphasis in Sustainable & Ethical Business practices.

Top reason you are attending

I'm a champion of the use and proliferation of local businesses to optimize competition in our economy, and I'm hoping to share our solution while finding out how we can partner with other innovations springing up around Denver.

What you hope to contribute

We have a unique opportunity to rebuild part of Colorado's economy as we recover from the national recession. I come with a research-backed knowledge base for environmental and ethical business practices in addition to a career and educational background in marketing, and I hope to use my experience and education to help us design new solutions, whether they are for individual business owners or for the local economy as a whole.
